Washington County 4-H clubs are comprised of youth, ages 5-18, doing experiential learning activities in a group setting or individually.

We have community clubs and special interest clubs.  In the community clubs, the programming and conversation encompasses general interests, such as natural resources, recycling, community service, etc.  Washington County community clubs are listed below.

To learn more about a specific interest, consider a special interest club.  The conversation and programming in a special interest club revolves around that specific interest.  The 4-H Rifle Club and the Dairy Goat 4-H Club are examples of special interest clubs.  Meeting locations and times for these clubs can vary.  For example, a horse club (we have three) may have a meeting at a horse stable; or the 4-H Livestock Club may hold a meeting at a farm.  The Washington County special interest clubs are also listed below.

4-H Clovers are youth ages 5-7.  Clovers do age-appropriate activities, usually related to the club programming.  Clovers do not do competitive activities.  However, some animal clubs do have youth mentors who work with clovers throughout the year to allow them to participate in the pre-4-H shows during Ag Expo & Fair week.

Washington County Community Clubs:

• Chewsville/Chewsville Clovers 4-H Club - Meets at Shiloh United Methodist Church, Hagerstown, on the second Friday of each month, 7 p.m.
• Discovery/Discovery Clovers 4-H Club - Meets at the Bethel United Methodist Church on the first and third friday morning of the month.
• Huyetts/Clear Spring Clovers 4-H Club - Meets at St. John's Church, Clear Spring, on the first Monday of the month, 6:30 p.m.
• Ringgold/Smithsburg/R/S Clovers 4-H Club - Meets at the Smithsburg Fire Hall on the first Monday of the month, 7 p.m.
• Sharpsburg/Sharpsburg Clovers 4-H Club - Meets at the Sharpsburg Town Hall on the second Thursday of the month, 7:00 p.m.
• Sunlight/Sunbeams 4-H Club - Meets at Faith Christian Fellowship, Lappans Road, Williamsport, on the first Tuesday of the month, 1:30 p.m.
  

Washington County 4-H Special Interest Clubs:

• Alpaca/Cria 4-H Club - Meets at Millstone Manor, Clear Spring, on the second Thursday of the month, 6:30 p.m.
• Bits-N-Bridles/B-n'-B Clovers 4-H Horse Club - Meets at the Washington County Extension Office, Sharpsburg Pike, on the first Monday of the month, 7 p.m.
• 4-H Dairy Club - Meets at the Washington County Extension Office, Sharpsburg Pike, on the third Friday of the month, 7:30 p.m.
• 4-H Dairy Goat Club - Meets at the Washington County Extension Office, Sharpsburg Pike, on the second Monday of the month, 7:30 p.m.
• Tailwaggers/Puppy 4-H Dog Club - Meets at the Wasington County Extension Office, Sharpsburg Pike, on the second Saturday of the month, 2 p.m.
• Junior Fair Board - Meets on the third Monday of the month, to discuss/plan for the Washington County Ag Expo & Fair, 6:30 p.m.  Members must already belong to a club to participate.
• 4-H Lamb Club - Meets at the Washington County Extension Office, Sharpsburg Pike, the fourth Monday of the month, 7 p.m.
• 4-H Livestock/Livestock Clovers Club - Meets at the Washington County Extension Office, Sharpsburg Pike, the first Thursday of the month, 7 p.m.
• Mason Dixon Horse and Pony 4-H Club - Meets at New Beginnings Farm, Castle Hill Road, the fourth Thursday of the month, 7 p.m.
• 4-H Rabbit Club - Meets at the Shiloh United Methodist Church, Hagerstown, the fourth Thursday of the month, 6 p.m.
• Red Ribbon 4-H Horse Club - Meets at Heritage Harvest, Boonsboro, on the last Monday of the month, 5 p.m.
• 4-H Rifle Club - Meets at rifle range weekly for practice shooting.  Matches are throughout the year.  Time varies.
• Saddles & Spurs 4-H Horse Club - Location, day and time vary.
• 4-H Swine Club - Meets at the Washington County Extension Office, Sharpsburg Pike, the third Wednesday of the month, 7:30 p.m.
